| INTERNATIONAL CHILDCARE TRUST'S GOLF DAY | 11th June |
International Childcare Trust’s first Golf Day was held on 11th June at Effingham Golf Club, Surrey. 72 people participated on the day. Rain was forecast but the day was glorious, though the wind put claim to a few stray balls. Thank you to also those who participated and supported International Childcare Trust, especially to Chris Blackham who helped organise and drum up support. During the prize giving lunch a game of heads and tails and auction took place. In total £14,390 was raised for International Childcare Trust. Congratulations to Justyn Bailey, Lynda Bailey, Peter Kershaw and Judy Kershaw who were the days winners (pictured below). We look forward to seeing everyone again next year. | ICT ANNUAL FINANCIAL SECTOR PUB QUIZ 2009 | 19th May |
| This year, our 8th Annual Financial Sector Pub Quiz raised a grand total of £7351 for International Childcare Trust. Held at the Barracuda Bar in London, 29 teams from leading firms in investment banking, law, accounting and media took part, with participants including Deutsche Bank, Allen & Overy, Bloomberg, BNP Paribas and many more. The evening was a great success with teams competing fiercely to see who would come out in top place. In the end, the ‘Grim Reapers’ from Begbies Traynor, managed to snatch first place away from reigning champions, Veni, Vidi, Fitchi, from Fitch Ratings! There were lots of wonderful prizes donated, with the 1st place prize of a ‘Wine Tasting Course for 12 people’ generously donated by Winfield Wine Events.
